SCAN Infant Mortality Tables


Follow these steps to create a table, trend-line and bar chart from South Carolina Resident data.
  Step One
Select row variable (default: year).
  of Child
  Step Two
Select column variable (default:Race of Child).
   
  Step Three
Select year(s) of interest (default: 2023).

ICD9 Codes:

  Step Four (Optional)
Specify Race of Child, Ethnicity of Child, Age of Child at Death, Gestational Age and/or Birthweight below:
(default: All Races, All Ethnicities, All Ages of Child, All Gestational Ages, All Birthweights)

     Race of Child     Age of Child at Death    Birthweight 
Ethnicity of Child              Gestational Age 
  Step Five
Select Region (default: County).
   
  Step Six
Select Regions of interest.

In order to view multiple regions separately, "Region" must be the row or column variable.

* To add or remove regions, select regions of interest and click on the add/remove button, or double click on selected item

  Step Seven
Select Infant Mortality Variables (default: Infant Mortality).

In order to view multiple variables, "Infant Mortality Variables" must be the row or column variable.

* To add or remove Infant Mortality Variables, select Infant Mortality Variables of interest and click on the add/remove button, or double click on selected item

  Step Eight
Choose output preference (default: Frequencies and Rates).









      *   Frequencies and Rates must be selected in step 8.
  Step Nine
Choose output presentation format (default: Table).



     Available for consecutive years when year is chosen as a Column Variable
