Welcome to the Cancer Incidence and Mortality Selection Page
About SCAN Cancer module

Please select one of the two options.

This will direct you to the Cancer Incidence Selection Page, which contains three distinct modules all related to cancer incidence. These are new cases of cancer that are reported to the South Carolina Central Cancer Registry (SCCCR). The three modules are: The Cancer Incidence Statistical File, The Cancer Incidence Full or Research File, and the Childhood Cancer Incidence file. Each of these modules has a public and password protected face. To access these modules, click the button and select submit at the bottom of the page.

This will direct you to the cancer mortality module. This module contains all the cancer related deaths that have occurred to South Carolina residents. The primary difference between this and the mortality modules is the fact that this module is only concern with death caused by cancer. The coding is the same however there are slight modifications to the underlying population denominator as to match national statistics. To access this module, click the button and select submit at the bottom of the page.
